South Korea · Question 2: which clinics?

Every government-listed medical facility in South Korea

4,412 facilities appear on the Medical Korea registered-institution list as of October 30, 2026. This is the whole field, reproduced from the regulator without ranking or omission. The 47 providers we have researched in depth are marked where they appear; they are a documented subset, not a shortlist of the only legitimate options.

What being on this list means

The institution is registered under the Act on Support for Overseas Expansion of Healthcare System and Attraction of International Patients, which any Korean medical institution must do before it recruits or treats foreign patients. Registered institutions must carry medical malpractice liability insurance and display the registration certificate on premises.

What it does not mean

Registration is not an accreditation. It does not say whether a board-certified specialist operates, whether an anesthesiologist is on staff, or how outcomes compare. The separate KAHF accreditation covers about 26 institutions. A clinic can be registered and still be the subject of a regulator action.

The list uses legal entity names. If a brand does not appear, search the street address from the clinic's contact page, then ask the clinic for the name on its certificate.

By facility type

The licence type tells you what a facility may legally do on its own premises. It is the first thing to match against the procedure you are booking.

The 47 providers we have researched

For each of these we record what is documented: registration or licence status against this list, named operating doctors and anesthesia plan, published prices, regulator or press record, and exactly how to book. 82 of them are matched to a row on this list by name; the rest trade under a brand that differs from the legal name on the register, and their profiles say so.

Medical disclaimer: This page is general information, not medical advice. Listings are aggregated from public sources and prices are estimates that may be out of date — confirm current pricing, services, and provider credentials directly with each clinic. Talk to a licensed clinician before starting any medication or treatment.

This directory reproduces the official list without additions or omissions and is refreshed when the regulator republishes it. Facility names are shown as the regulator publishes them. A facility that is not listed may have been authorized after October 30, 2026, may operate under a different legal name, or may not be authorized at all. Always confirm with the official lookup and ask the facility for its certificate before paying. VitalityScout has no commercial relationship with any facility listed here.
